Cheesy Garlic Bread Meatball Sliders

Ingredients

For the meatballs

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

For assembling

  • 12 mini bread rolls or slider buns
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 200 g mozzarella cheese, grated or sliced
  • Extra Parmesan cheese, optional

For the garlic butter

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F.

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.

Place the meatballs on a baking tray and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until cooked through. You can also brown them in a skillet if you prefer.

Cut the mini rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.

Spoon a little tomato sauce over each roll. Add one meatball to each bun, then top with more tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.

Place the top halves of the rolls over the meatballs.

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic, parsley, and oregano. Brush this garlic butter over the tops of the sliders.

Sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.

Serving Suggestion

Serve warm, straight from the oven. These sliders are perfect with fries, salad, roasted potatoes, coleslaw, or extra tomato sauce for dipping.

For parties, serve them on a large platter with small napkins or cocktail sticks.

Conclusion

Cheesy Garlic Bread Meatball Sliders are warm, cheesy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. The juicy meatballs, melted mozzarella, tomato sauce, and garlic butter bread make this recipe comforting and irresistible.

They are simple to prepare, easy to serve, and ideal for any occasion where you want a savory dish that everyone will enjoy.
