Christmas Wreath Cake Tutorial

This video tutorial demonstrate how to create a beautiful Christmas wreath cake decorated using buttercream and cake pops.

Christmas Wreath Cake

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Americolour Gel Food Colours in:
– Super Red
– Mint Green
– Gold

Piping Tips Needed:

– leaf tip
– Wilton #1 top
– grass tip (or #233 tip)

5 inch cake tin
10 inch cake
12 inch cake board

Buttercream

I only needed 250 grams butter, 400 – 450 grams icing sugar, 2-3 tablespoons of milk and a dash of vanilla extract.

White Chocolate for dipping (approximately 200 grams of white chocolate)
– Creative Cake Decorating Mica Powder in Gold Diamond
– any other gold edible dust. I also used Rolkem
– cake pop sticks
Red and Yellow fondant
3 – 4 piping bags
